The chance of poisoning the targeted enemy increases by 10% for every upgrade an oil has. The max chance you can get is 35% from using Superior Oils which is still pretty low for battles you can end fast.

The ability of this skill can greatly help you in combat against stronger enemies especially in higher difficulties.
