Crippling Shot is sometimes worth investing points

We recommend investing into this ability if it works with the build you are running. Although this skill will not be quite as useful as some of the other skills, it certainly has its uses, and it certainly will not hurt to have. While it may seem a bit niche, you can invest into this skill if you have already built your more important skills, and have extra points to spend.

The skill is mainly useful for enemies that use their special abilities more than attacking normally. The ability to disable an enemy's special ability with a simple crossbow shot is very useful in battle. The cost of the skill, the investment needed to upgrade it, and the skill itself heavily relying on your crossbow critical hit chance undermines this skill a lot.

Conclusion

If you have mainly invested in the Combat Branch, you can get this skill if you want to save using your bombs to disable the enemies abilities. Although the effect is good, we would recommend that you use your skill points on other skills rather than investing it on this skill.
