Players can gamble on getting good Equipment by purchasing Mystery Items from Pantheros the Scavenger in Titan Quest 2. See how to gamble on Equipment, as well as if it's worth it to buy from the Scavenger in this guide!
List of Contents

Players can gamble on equipment in Titan Quest 2 by speaking with Pantheros the Scavenger, found northeast of the Farmland Crossroads waypoint.
He sells Mystery Items that all cost around 2000 gold per purchase, with a Mystery equivalent of every type of Weapon and Armor in the game.
Once purchased, a Mystery Item will randomly transform into a piece of gear with varying Rarity in your inventory. This is completely random, and can award anywhere between Infrequent to Unique items.

If you have gold to spare, purchasing items from Pantheros is a decent way to spend it as there is a chance to gain Unique items when you buy from him.
Uniques are special items that carry superior stats and special effects, making them more powerful than your usual weapons. Even though they aren't guaranteed, it is still worth trying to snag some from the Scavenger.

It should go without saying, but the only Mystery Items that are worth buying are those that fit into your current build. Select only the weapons and armor that you can make use of, in order to spend your gold wisely.
