Mario Strikers - How to Do Charged Shots
Charged Shots are stronger versions of regular shots in Mario Strikers: Battle League. Read on to learn how to do a Charged Shot, its effects, and more!

How To Perform Hold down A Button then release

Instead of tapping the A Button to shoot the ball, hold it down and watch your character charge the ball. Afterwards, release the button and your character will unleash a stronger than ususal shot.

Pre-requisite to Hyper Strikes

Luigi Hyper Meter
Should you perform a Charged Shot after obtaining a Strike Orb, you will have an opportunity to perform a Hyper Strike instead.

A meter will show up and having the correct timing can land you not one, but two points!

How to Do a Hyper Strike

Performing Perfect Shots

Mario Strikers Battle League - Perfect Shot
How to Perform Press and hold the A button to charge a shot and release it at the moment when the circle started to glow blue.
Effects Cannot be body-blocked by opponents and has increased power and speed.

A Perfect Shot is a stronger version of the Charged Shot that entails proper timing to perform.

While charging your shot, there will be a ring around the player that will glow blue for a very brief moment. Should you release the A Button at that moment, you will perform a Perfect Shot.
