Perfect Actions increase the chances of scoring in Mario Strikers: Battle League. Read on to learn how each Perfect Actions work and how to do them, including tips and their effects!
How to Perform Perfect Actions
Do the Action at the Right Timing
You will be able to do a perfect action by pressing and releasing the control at the right moment. Each action and requires proper timing in order to be successfully performed.

High Technique makes perfect actions become easier to perform. You can try to use characters with high technique to get a good feel how perfect action works.

Perfect Shot
 |

| How to Perform | Press and hold the A button to charge a shot and release it at the moment when the circle started to glow blue. |

| Effects | Cannot be body-blocked by opponents and has increased power and speed. |
A Perfect Shot can be easily get interrupted as it needs charging up. Be sure to do it when the coast is clear to make it a successful shot. Note that it doesn't guarantee a score to the goal, but only increases the chance to score one.

Perfect Tackle

| How to Perform | Press and hold the Y button and release it when the charge gauge is full and once a sparky blue light appears. |

| Effects | It can stop anyone with a tackle, even a character with maxed Strength. It can also steal the ball to the holder if done correctly. |
A Perfect Tackle is a high-risk, high-reward move. Perfect Tackle will allow you to steal the ball if performed correctly, but you will not be able to move for a short while if you fail. It is also appliable to team tackles.
How to Do a Team Tackle

| How to Perform | Press B or Y to start a pass, and while the ball is on the way to your allies, press B or Y immediately to charge it. Make a pass once more the moment it's done charging, and it reaches the receiver to perform it. |

| Effects | It cannot be interrupted by opponents. It also has increased speed and accuracy |
A charged Perfect Pass won't get interruped by any means, but it can be stopped midway. Use items and the open space to charge up the bass and do quick play combos to score using this action.
Also, note that the passer and the receiver can still get knocked down even if the Perfect Pass is successful.

| Effects | Gain a speed boost after successfully dodging a tackle. |
A Perfect Dodge is hard to pull off, but it will pay off greatly if you can do it successfully. You should watch out for the charged tackle bar from the enemies, so you can know when and where it will come!
How to Dodge Effectively
Perfect Direct Shot

| How to Perform | Give a pass to your allies with B or Y, and charge with A while the ball is heading toward the recipient of the pass. Release A the moment the ball passes to the recipient. |

| Effects | Gain a speed boost after successfully dodging a tackle. |
A Perfect Direct Shot is only doable when you receive a pass. Your team can try to charge up for a Perfect Pass first so the ball won't get intercepted.
