A lob pass is an overhead pass in Mario Strikers: Battle League, which is hard to intercept. Mark the receiver of the lobbed pass and steal the ball before it reaches them. Read on to learn more about intercepting a lobbed pass!

Get Close to the Receiver

Mario Strikers Battle League - Intercept a Pass
The best way to steal a lobbed pass is to follow the receiver and quickly tackling them to get the ball. You need to press A or B buttons near the opponent to tackle them and steal the ball.

You can also get in front of the ball's trajectory to steal the pass. If successful, you can immediately shoot or pass the ball from there.

Try to steal the ball before the pass

Don't hesitate to go after the ball, especially if it's already in front of you. Intercepting a lobbed pass comes with a risk of failing, so it would be better if you get the ball immediately rather than waiting for the lobbed pass to happen. Remember, prevention is better than the cure!
