When To Use a Bob-omb

Take Out Several Opponents at Once

The Bob-omb is best used when several opponents are crowding together to defend the ball. You can toss a Bob-omb to knock them all out and use this opportunity to steal the ball from them.

You can also do this when several members of the opposing team are blocking the path to the goal, preventing you from making a proper shot.

Stun Opponents at the Start of the Play

Using the Bob-omb immediately at the start of a play is a great way to steal the ball immediately from your enemies and score a quick goal. Because many of them will be stunned from the blast, they will be unable to block you from making a shot.

How to Get the Ball Quickly at the Start of the Match

Clear the Area Before a Hyper Strike

Before a character can perform a Hyper Strike, they will first need to charge up their attack for a significant amount of time. During this period, they are vulnerable to attacks from the oppossing team.

Before executing a Hyper Strike, you can use a Bob-omb to stun enemies in the immediate area, giving you enough time to charge your shot.

Touch a ? Block

Like all items in Mario Strikers: Battle League, you will need to touch a ? Block to get one and add it to one of your item slots. The item you get from a ? Block is always random, and you are only allowed to get items from rainbow blocks or blocks with the your team's color.
