With Waluigi's high Strength and Speed coupled with Donkey Kong's high Strength, making stops on defense and gaining possessions will be easy. On the other side of the field, Luigi and Yoshi's high Passing (as well as the latter's high Shooting) will provide ample playmaking options on the offense.

Combining the high Strength of Bowser and Wario with Peach and Waluigi's high Speed make this team comp a force on offense or defense. Tackles on defense will almost always land a change of possession in favor of your team. Once you get that stop on defense, you can easily make plays with Peach's high Passing and Technique and find either Bowser or Wario for easy shots.

A nimble defender, Waluigi uses his high Speed and Technique to rush over to opponents switftly and knock them down with a punishing tackle.

Additionally, having a decent base Technique stat, Waluigi's shot accuracy and ball dribbling are balanced and his Strike Meter is easy to manage as well, which could increase chances of a successful Hyper Strike.
