You Have Limited Control Over Boom Boom

Since Boom Boom is the goalkeeper, his playstyle is simply protecting the goalpost of his team. Boom Boom is a formidable opponent that defend against players.

Players may want to consider playing as a team rather than trying to score solo for a better chance of getting a goal!

Passing the Ball to Teammates

When Boom Boom has his hands on the ball, players can press B and he will pass the ball to the character you're controlling provided that they're close to the goal.

If your character is next to the midfield or past your side of the field, pressing B will have Boom Boom free lob pass the ball to the midfield instead.

Blocking Hyper Strikes

Players get to use Boom Boom whenever opponents perform Hyper Strikes. Once the ball hits Boom Boom's hands, players are to mash the A button until the defense gauge is full in order to have increased chances of blocking the Hyper Strike.
