Head northwest from the Great Deku Tree until you find Tasho. Talk to him and he will ask you to follow Oaki without being seen, as part of the trial.

You need to follow Oaki through his trial while being unseen. Stay behind him and keep your distance as you follow him.

Hide behind trees while following him as he frequently stops and turns around.

If you lose sight of him, you can use his speech bubbles to find out his current position.
