The best place to hold out in the Convoy map is in the Tunnels on the road leading up to the communication tower.
This is a straightforward place to control, as there are only two entrances, one at each end. Just make sure to keep an eye out for which side is getting overrun and assign team members accordingly. There is a turret near the entrance leading down the road, and an oil tank you can detonate as well. On the other side, leading up to the tower is an Armor Locker.
