How to Fix Matchmaking Not Working

Return to Title Screen or Restart the Game

If matchmaking takes longer than 2 minutes to queue up, returning to title screen or restarting the game can help alleviate the issue. Players may also try a combination of both, returning to title first and then restarting the game afterward.

Switch Crossplay Selection

There have been reports that toggling crossplay can fix the matchmaking issue as well. This can be accessed in the Settings under Gameplay, located at the top of the menu.

Contact Killing Floor 3 Support

If the above methods have been performed and the issue persists, it is best to file a bug report on the Support Portal of Killing Floor 3.

Is the Issue Tied to Player Count?

Most Likely Due to Client Issues

The long matchmaking queues are likely caused by an issue on the client itself and not due to Killing Floor 3's player count. Returning to title or restarting the game can fix this problem.

Private Steam Profile
