The Samaritan should be your top priority for the mid-late game build. It delivers powerful bursts of Cold damage, ideal for one-shotting waves of small zeds and bursting down larger ones. Pair it with the ESR 36 Sniper that is perfect for taking out Sirens, Bloats, and Husks from a distance. Having both of these weapons will cost you around 8000 Dosh total.

For your sidearm, the Disciple revolver is still best for the Sharpshooter. It boasts a high rate of fire to quickly dispatch Clots and Gorefasts, plus a built-in shotgun blast for added punch. It's perfect for thinning smaller zeds while conserving ammo for your primary weapons.

To finish your loadout, the Pulse Lure tool is ideal. It excels at crowd control by drawing zeds into a cluster, allowing you to line up shots. It is also a terrific escape tool in sticky situations.

Best Sharpshooter Primary Weapons

Primary Weapon Slot 1

Primary
Recommended Mods

The Samaritan is the Sharpshooter's best and most versatile weapon, dealing Cold damage that's effective against most zeds. It excels at both clearing waves of small enemies and can also take down Scrakes and Fleshpounds on its own.

Prioritize the Heat Dispenser mod for its strong Freeze Affliction boost, increased fire rate, and reduced recoil with no downsides to the build. The weapon also gets even stronger when modded with the Enhanced Foregrip and Red Dot Sight for better accuracy.

Additionally, the Extended Mag is best since it allows you to get a few more shots off before reloading, which is worth the slower reload when facing large zeds.

Primary Weapon Slot 2

Primary
Recommended Mods

The ESR 36 is an excellent choice for eliminating mid-tier threats behind the horde before they become too difficult to handle when surrounded. Husks, Sirens, and Bloats can be taken out quickly by targeting their weak points, killing them before they bother your team.

Alternative Primary Weapons

2 Killing Floor 3 Fieldmaster HR-10Fieldmaster HR-10 Primary DMG: 230

Base Cost: 1,400
3 Killing Floor 3 VS-11VS-11 Primary DMG: 60
Primary Fire Mode: Ballistic DMG
Base Cost: 1,400

Alternatively, the Artemis Marksman is a solid choice if your focus is on thinning out smaller zeds and less on dealing with medium or large threats. The Fieldmaster HR-10 starting weapon is also strong enough to carry you through the early to mid-game until you can afford more powerful rifles.

An effective off-perk option for early-game Sharpshooters is the VS-11. If your team doesn't have a Medic and needs the healing support, the VS-11 can double as a reliable healing tool while still providing solid firepower.

Best Sharpshooter Sidearm Weapon

Sidearm
Recommended Mods

The Disciple, Luna’s default sidearm, is the best choice thanks to its fast fire rate, making it ideal for clearing waves of small zeds. With the right mods, its recoil can be minimized and handling greatly improved, making it a quick and reliable backup to conserve ammo for your primaries.

Alternative Sidearm Weapons

1 Killing Floor 3 KH-380KH-380 Primary DMG: 60
Primary Fire Mode: Ballistic DMG
Secondary Fire Mode: Biological DMG
Base Cost: 800
2 Killing Floor 3 Pyre .357Pyre .357 Primary DMG: 210
Primary Fire Mode: Ballistic DMG
Base Cost: 800
3 Killing Floor 3 Bloodhound P330Bloodhound P330 Primary DMG: 115
Primary Fire Mode: Ballistic DMG
Base Cost: 900

If you're without a Medic, the KH-380 makes a great utility sidearm, allowing you to heal teammates from a distance. As Luna, you'll more often be positioned behind your teammates, allowing you to heal them before switching back to your Sharpshooter weapons.

To deal damage, the Pyre .357 is a solid alternative. While it is not as fast to handle or shoot as the KH-380, it has the highest base Ballistic damage among sidearms. The Bloodhound P330 is also a decent option for clearing out waves of Clots and Cysts with well-placed headshots.

The Pulse Lure is the perfect tool for Luna. When thrown, it draws nearby zeds towards it, making them easy targets for headshots while keeping you out of danger. It can also serve as an excellent escape tool when surrounded, giving you a window to get away when the zeds are distracted.

3 Killing Floor 3 Syringe BagSyringe Bag First-aid kit that provides the team with additional syringes.
• 2 deployable bags
• Each bag grants 1 syringe

The Shock Trap is another strong crowd control tool, similar to the Pulse Lure and Cryo-Grenade, but with the added benefit of dealing affliction damage. If your team is focused on affliction boosts, this can be a better option.

The Multi-Tool is a versatile alternative, offering team utility through Ziplines, Turrets, Armor Lockers, and door unlocking. The Syringe Bag is also great to swap to during Boss fights, providing extra survivability when other tools are less effective in the final phase.

Sharpshooter Bonus Ability Priority

Ability and Priority Explanation
Increases Damage by 35 from the first shot with a fully-loaded magazine.
★★★★★
With this damage increase, it makes dealing with Husks and Sirens more reliable and consistent. Furthermore, the Sharpshooter has naturally low magazine sizes, so the additional damage should reliably proc itself
33% chance to return 1 round to the magazine on killshot.
★★★☆☆
This bonus ability allows you to have less downtime when dealing with ZEDs due to the reloads. Furthermore, when you can stack this 2-3 times, you will essentially guarantee the additional damage gained from the fully-loaded magazine damage buff!
Reduce incoming damage received by 5% for 5 seconds on killshot
☆☆☆☆
The Sharpshooter is one of those classes that only needs one mistake to get downed. This ability allows you to make a few more mistakes during any point of the game before getting downed!

For the Sharpshooter, it would be best to prioritize the following Bonus Abilities that increase the success rate of her one-shot, one-kill policy by increasing the first shot damage and automatically reloading bullets upon each kill.

Luna Skill Priority

Sharpshooter Skill Upgrade Priority

Skill Priority Explanation
Killing Floor 3 Unknown Skill Icon Big Shot ★★★★★ As a Sharpshooter, targeting zed weak spots is your greatest strength, as your weapons heavily prioritize critical damage. This lets you eliminate medium and large zeds much quicker.
Killing Floor 3 Unknown Skill Icon Flight Response ★★★★ Grants better survivability while running with increased movement speed, which is essential especially in maps where mobility is vital.
Killing Floor 3 Unknown Skill Icon Chilling Effect ★★★☆☆ Freezing enemies for a longer duration gives you the opportunity to reposition and line up headshots or critical hits more effectively.
Killing Floor 3 Unknown Skill Icon Cold-Blooded ★★☆☆☆ Cold Blooded is an excellent way to get even more Freeze Utility, making your gadget great to use in a pinch and to save on Cryo-Grenades.
Killing Floor 3 Unknown Skill Icon Target Run ☆☆☆☆ While upgrades make Luna's Gadget even more effective, the base increase of 4 targets when selecting this skill already provides a substantial upgrade that packs a punch.

Prioritize spending your points on leveling up Big Shot first. Being the Sharpshooter, Luna excels at lining up headshots for big damage, especially against zeds with high HP.

Bonus weak spot damage builds well with Freeze Afflictions that keeps the zeds staying still to hit easier shots, so upgrade Chilling Effect to extend the Freeze duration.

Flight Response is also a good early upgrade, boosting movement speed and survivability in dangerous situations. Cold-Blooded adds more ways to apply Freeze Affliction, while Target Run lets your gadget hit and freeze more enemies with the Frosted Tips skill. Save Target Run for later, as other skills provide stronger benefits early on.

How to Play Sharpshooter

Sharpshooter Playstyle Tips

Keep Your Distance

Sharpshooter weapons are most effective at range, giving you space to line up shots to weak spots and reposition when needed. In a team, Luna should not be the one engaging zeds first. Characters like Nakata (Ninja) or Imran (Engineer) are much better taking the frontlines.

While Luna lacks tankiness, she gains strong mobility at higher levels, allowing her to create distance and resume picking off targets.

Prioritize Taking Down Tougher Zeds

Your main priority is to use your range to eliminate higher-level zeds. Medium enemies like Sirens, Husks, and Bloats can be taken out with one or two headshots, letting you pick them off from behind the horde before they can use their ranged attacks.

Large zeds are also your priority, as you have the highest burst damage on the team. A few well-placed headshots can significantly weaken Scrakes and Fleshpounds.

Save Utility for Close Situations

Save Cryo-Grenades for close encounters, especially when a Scrake or Fleshpound is approaching. Try to freeze them before they enter their enraged state, where they take reduced damage. When you're in a tough spot, use crowd control tools like Pulse Lures to regain control and recover.
