You Need PS Plus for Online Multiplayer

According to Killing Floor 3's product page on the PlayStation store, a PS Plus subscription is required to access Killing Floor 3's online multiplayer.

Solo-Playing Is Supported

You can play solo in Killing Floor 3 if you don't have a PS Plus subscription, and the solo-play feature can be toggled on or off via the game's settings. Do note that you still need a working internet connection for players' stats to progress!

Game Pass Is Required for Xbox Players

Players planning to buy Killing Floor 3 on Xbox will also need the Xbox Game Pass Core, Standard, or Ultimate to access online multiplayer. Do note that Killing Floor 3 is not available on PC Game Pass' catalog!
