The best place to hold out in the Horzine Factory is in the Control Room, which is the main area of the factory, overlooking the Zed assembly. Controlling this area has the advantage of avoiding getting shot by Husks since it is very open.
There are two enemy spawns, one on the right and another on the left side of the area, that can easily be managed by a Firebug, Ninja, or Engineer while the rest of the team can handle the stragglers. There is an Armor Locker that can be unlocked using a Multi-tool if you go down the staircase that leads to a dead end.
