Best Way to Farm Scrap Metal
Destroy Loudspeakers and Cameras in City Streets
The best place you can farm for Scrap Metal is located on the City Streets map. There's a large number of Cameras and Speakers here you can destroy and the map layout itself is straightforward.
You can run around in circles and just shoot at Speakers or Cameras. Here you'll also be able to find Kiosk, which when destroyed, will drop Bio Steel.
Get Killed By Zeds to Save Materials
Since quitting the match won't save your materials, it's recommended that you get yourself killed by the Zeds instead. This will end the match, and you'll be able to keep the materials right after.
You can wait until the summary screen finishes, then click on the Map Vote button to select the next map. Pick the City Streets again to continue farming. Make sure that you're in Solo Play when doing this method.
