You will need a Multi-tool to open Armor Lockers. This will reward you with additional armor during waves.

Best Place to Hold Out

The best spot to hold out in the Radar Station is located just outside the Maintenance Bay where you'll find a bunch of broken tanks, a gate to the forest on the left side if you're facing the bay, and flag poles across it. There's also a cliff at the edge and a bridge that leads to an Armor Locker.
Since this area is pretty open, it's easy to keep an eye out for all spawn points, as long as you are coordinating properly. There is a large fuel tank on the right side of the map that you can detonate to kill off a horde if needed.
