Parrying in Killing Floor 3 requires you to block at the correct time using a melee weapon. Learn how to parry and the recommended class to parry in Killing Floor 3.

Parry Using Melee Weapons

Killing Floor III - Melee
To be able to parry in Killing Floor 3, you need to equip your melee weapon. Once equipped, you should be able to press the right mouse button to block attacks.

To parry, you'll have to block at the correct timing. Just before an enemy lands its hit on you, press the block button, and this will trigger a parry.

Parry Knockbacks Enemies and Negates Damage

Successfully parrying an attack will sometimes knock Zeds back, allowing you to escape or deal damage to them. Parrying an attack also mitigates the damage that you would have received if you were hit by the attack.

However, be reminded that not all attacks can be parried. Some attacks like the Husk's flamethrower attack and Siren's screams can't be parried.

Killing Floor 3 - Projectiles Can Be Parried
Projectiles from Husks can also be parried if you time it correctly. Performing a successful parry on a projectile will knock you back a bit while also knocking back the Husk that fired the projectile at you.

Best Class for Parrying

Use Ninja to Parry Attacks

Nakata
Since Ninja is the only class that utilizes melee weapons at their fullest, they're the best class you can use for a parry-heavy playstyle. This can help immensely in mitigating damage from Large Zeds with their attacks.
