Choose the Tool Before a Match
If you already want to use the Explosive Lock at the start of a match, make sure to select it before a match starts.
Buy From the Trader
If you want to equip the Explosive Lock in the middle of a match, you can do so by interacting with a Trader after a wave!

How to Use Explosive Lock
Attach to Doors to Lock Them
You can use Explosive Locks by attaching them to open doors, which effectively shuts them close. When attached, these locks can only withstand a certain number of hits before they are destroyed, triggering an explosion that deals massive Force Damage, on top of a Stumble affliction that renders them debilitated momentarily.
Use for Crowd-Control
Since Explosive Locks require a number of hits before exploding, Specialists can also use them to herd enemies behind door. This guarantees that the explosion will hit a huge number of Zeds, saving you and your allies time and resources. Alternatively, Explosive Locks can also be used as a means to escape waves of enemies to regroup.
