1 Take the contract from Toussaint on the notice board in Velen.
2 Travel to Holloway and speak with the Knights.

Choices

Objective 2: Bandits

Witcher 3 Choice Bandits

During your conversation with the Knights of Toussaint, you are given a choice to either help the Knights deal with the Bandits, or tell them that eliminating them will just make worse one appear later.

If you pick the first choice, then you will have an optional objective to eliminate all the bandits.

If you pick the second choice, then the Knights will agree with your statement, and they will regretfully leave the village with you.

Combat Strategies

Bandits

  • Coat your Steel Sword with Hanged Man's Venom to deal bonus damage to them.
  • We recommend grouping them together and hitting them with a Sign or a Bomb to quickly deal with a lot of them at once.
  • We also recommend that you take out the crossbowmen first, then bandits without shields second, and lastly the bandits with shields. This will allow you to have an easier time dealing with their large number.
