Blood Simple Main Objectives

| 1 | Look around the orphanage using your Witcher Senses. Go down the stairs outside the oprhanage. Examine the green substance on the right corner stone located at the bottom of the stairs. |
| 2 | Follow the scent trail. Examine the body you find after jumping over the wall. |
| 3 | Use your Witcher Senses and follow the wagon tracks. You'll receive 100 XP for doing so. |
| 4 | Examine the body inside the crashed carriage. |
| 5 | Use your Witcher Senses and head towards the direction of the red sound waves. |
| 6 | Defeat the Alpha Garkain. Get the Garkain Trophy from its corpse. You will earn 200 XP. |
| 7 | Return to Orianna at the orphanage. Gain 800 XP after talking to her. |
| 8 | Talk to the birds on the tree right outside of the orphanage. Choose to meet Regis. |
| 9 | You can choose to go back to the quest The Night of Long Fangs by choosing Fine. Let's go find Syanna. Choosing Won't change my mind, Period will start the quest What Lies Unseen. |
Blood Simple Tips and Strategies
Fighting the Alpha Garkain
Preparation
Prepare for the fight with Black Blood Potion, Golden Oriole Potion, Moon Dust Bomb, and Samum Bomb.
Attacks
Claw attack: Slow, but can poison.
Slam attack: Has a wide area of effect, but is telegraphed by a jump.
Stun blast: Can charge up a large area of effect blast that will stun you. Telegraphed by its head glowing white.
Tactic
Consume the Black Blood Potion and Golden Oriole Potion. The Black Blood Potion can help deal damage whenever the Alpha Garkain hits you. The Golden Oriole Potion will help negate the poison on the claw attacks. Keep distance and avoid its attacks. After it attacks, go in and attack it with 3 hits. It will counter, so immediately dodge right after. Be careful when its health gets low, as it will act more aggressively and attack more frequently.
