Witcher 3 Werewolf Epilogue

The first choice will initiate combat with the Werewolf until you are able to kill it.

The second choice will allow you to spare the Werewolf, after which it will accompany you and help you in combat with the peasants and the Crone.

Ending 3 Objective 2: The Peasants

Witcher 3 Peasants Epilogue

You are given a variety of dialogue options to pick regarding how to deal with the Peasants. There are only two outcomes in this conversation: you kill the peasants, or you leave them alone.

Picking the more aggressive options will lead this conversation into a fight with the peasants, while you can leave them alone if you choose the more pacifistic options.

How to Get the Different Endings

The Main Epilogue of the game is entirely dependent on five of your choices regarding Ciri's fate in this quest. The game has a hidden scale of 5 points which determines whether Ciri lives or not. Getting 3 or more points in this hidden scale will lead to Ciri being alive while having 2 or lower points will lead to Ciri dying.

The Different Endings

The first two endings occur when Ciri is alive.

  • In the first ending, Ciri and Geralt will fake Ciri's death before Ciri starts her own path as a witcher.
  • In the second ending, Ciri will be able to return back alive, but she chose to become the Empress of Nilfgaard.

  • The final remaining ending is based on Ciri dying to the White Frost.

  • In the third and final ending, Ciri dies against the White Frost and Geralt is overcome with despair. He goes back to Crookback Bog and kills the last Crone. He is assumed to have died against the horde of monsters that arrived.
  • The Choices That Affect the Ending

    Major Choice #1

    Witcher 3 Ciri

This choice can be found in the main quest Blood on the Battlefield. You are given two choices on how to comfort Ciri after she fails in her training with Avallac'h.

The first option decreases a point on the hidden scale, while the second choice increases a point on the hidden scale.

    Major Choice #2

    Witcher 3 Ciri

This choice can be found in the main quest Blood on the Battlefield. This choice will affect whether which of the first two endings where Ciri is alive will happen. However, this choice will not affect anything if you get the ending where Ciri dies.

Choosing the first option will lead to the ending where Ciri becomes the Empress of Nilfgaard. The second option will lead to Ciri becoming a witcher.

NOTE: Ciri will only become the Empress if you have done the following:

    1. Completed the Act I Secondary Quests; An Eye for an Eye, A Deadly Plot, and Redania's Most Wanted.
    2. Completed the Act III Secondary Quest: Reason of State.
    3. You chose not allow Dijkstra to kill Thaler, Vernon Roche, and Ves in the Secondary Quest: Reason of State.

    Major Choice #2-1

    Witcher 3 Ciri

This choice can be found in the main quest Blood on the Battlefield. This choice is only available if you decided to visit Emhyr with Ciri before going to Velen.

The first option decreases a point on the hidden scale, while the second choice increases a point on the hidden scale.

    Major Choice #3

    Witcher 3 Ciri

This choice can be found in the main quest Final Preparations. You are given two choices to either accompany Ciri when she talks with the Lodge of Sorceresses or stay outside and wait for her.

The first option decreases a point on the hidden scale, while the second choice increases a point on the hidden scale.

    Major Choice #4

    Witcher 3 Ciri

This choice can be found in the main quest Child of the Elder Blood. You are given two choices to either calm Ciri down or to encourage her to wreck Avallac'h lab.

The first option decreases a point on the hidden scale, while the second choice increases a point on the hidden scale.

    Major Choice #5

    Witcher 3 Ciri

This choice can be found before the main quest Child of the Elder Blood ends. This choice affects whether the main quest Skjall's Grave will appear or not.

The first option increases a point on the hidden scale while the second choice decreases a point on the hidden scale.
