Blindingly Obvious Main Objectives

| 1 | Speak with Triss at the fountain behind the Passiflora. |
| 2 | Go and enter the bathhouse with Triss. |
| 3 | Chase after Philippa while dealing with Dijkstra's henchmen blocking the way. |
| 4 | Deal with Bart the troll. |
| 5 | Catch up with Philippa and kill the Fire Elemental. |
| 6 | Capture Philippa and deal with Dijkstra. |
Choices
Objective 4 Choice: Dealing with Bart
Picking the option I need her. will make Geralt lose his patience and will start a fight with Bart the troll. We do not recommend doing this because Bart does not drop any loot, and just wastes your time.
The option I want to help her. will make Bart sympathize with Geralt's intentions to help. Bart will let you pass without having to fight him.
Objective 6 Choice: Dijkstra in the way
The option Tell you what the emeperor's after if you let us go. will make Geralt tell Dijkstra about his conversation with Emhyr regarding Ciri's future. This option will unlock the Secondary Quest: Reason of State if you have accomplished the pre-requisites for this quest.
Picking the other option will make Geralt shove away Dijkstra and will break his other leg
Blindingly Obvious Tips and Strategies
Combat Strategies
Dijkstra's Henchmen
- Coat your Steel Sword in Hanged Man's Venom to deal bonus damage to them.
- When the enemy is holding a shield, counterattacking is the best way to deal with them.
- You cannot parry or block any enemy who is holding a two-handed weapon.

- Cast the Quen Sign to protect yourself from its heavy attacks.
- Coat your Silver Sword with Ogroid Oil to deal increased damage to him.
| Rock Troll Weaknesses and Loot |
Fire Elemental
- Immediately cast the Aard Sign or throw the Northern Wind bomb on it to extinguish their flames. Their flames deals damage when you get closer to them.
- Coat your Silver Sword with Elementa Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
- Throw Dimeritium bombs on them if you are having trouble with their fire abilities.
