2 Complete the main quests The Sunstone, Child of the Elder Blood, Skjall's Grave, and Veni Vidi Vigo.
3 Speak with Avallac'h and tell him everything is ready.

You can do the other quests required to complete Battle Preparations in any order.

The quests The Suntstone and Veni Vidi Vigo are immediately unlocked after starting Battle Preparations.

The quest Child of the Elder Blood will only be unlocked after finding the location of the Sunstone in the quest The Sunstone

The quest Skjall's Grave can only be unlocked if you do the Child of the Elder Blood quest and agreed to come with Ciri to Lofoten.
