How to Fight Rock Trolls

How to Fight

Fighting Rock Trolls is the same as dealing with Ice Trolls. The best way to deal with Rock Trolls is to constantly protect yourself with the Quen Sign and unleash your attack combos during the openings right after they attack you. When attacking them, you should remember that you should be attacking them from the front since their thick armor can deflect your attacks when you try attacking them from behind.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Ogroid oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare Samum Bombs or Dancing Star Bombs to hit them from far away.

Special Sign Effects

  • Yrden - This can slow them down even further allowing you to get a few additional attacks in.
  • Axii - This can stun them momentarily and it can also interupt some of their attacks.
