Objective 1 Choice: Eyvind the Bard

When speaking to the Eyvind the Bard, you will have to convince him to tell you the location of the Sunstone without arousing suspicion.

The first option will not be able to convince him to give the location of the elven ruins, as he hates Ermion.

Picking the second option will convince him that you want to explore the elven ruins and collect material for your novel.

Mirror Puzzle Solution

The simple solution to this puzzle is to shift each mirror once. Get to the position of each mirrior and pull the lever once for each one.

Exploration Tips

Place of Power

After defeating the Drowners and the Siren, head west in the same area to spot a Igni Place of Power.

Hidden Treasure

While exploring the elven ruins with Philippa, she will repair some stairs with her magic. After she repairs the stairs, climb them and turn left to explore an area with a Venemous Arachas and Hidden Treasure.

Combat Strategies

Drowners

• Underwater drowners are extremely weak to your crossbow. Use this to deal with them very easily.
• Cast the Igni Sign to burn them and give yourself an opening to attack.
• Coat your Silver Sword with Necrophage Oil to deal bonus damage.

Sirens

• Cast the Aard Sign or use the crossbow to make them fall down and then attack them.
• Coat your Silver Sword with Hybrid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.

Venomous Arachasae

• Coat your Silver Sword with Insectoid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
• Prepare the Golden Oriole potion to remove and become immune to its poison.

Golem

• Cast the Quen Sign to protect yourself from its heavy attacks.
• Throw Dimeritium Bombs to disable from using it from using its ability.
• Coat your Silver Sword in Elementa Oil to deal bonus damage to them.

Ghosts

• These enemies are the same as normal Wild Hunt soldiers except they are Specters instead of Humanoid.
• Coat your sword in Elementa Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
