How to Fight

When fighting them above water, the best way to deal with them is to ignite them using different means. You can cast the Igni Sign, ignite them using the Dragon's Dream Bomb, or by throwing a Dancing Star Bomb. Once they are burning, a few sword strikes can quickly kill them.

When fighting them underwater, the only way to deal with them is to use your crossbow. You can use the automatic targeting of the crossbow to quickly deal with them while underwater.

What Preparations to Make?

You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Necrophage oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare bombs like the Dragon's Dream Bomb and the Dancing Star Bomb in order to burn them.

Special Sign Effects

  • Aard - If your Sign Intensity is high enough, this can knock them down and you can instant-kill them while they are down.
  • Igni - This can easily ignite them allowing you to finish them off quickly with sword strikes.
