Encounter in the Woods is the sixth chapter of the main storyline, where you go to Wishing Woods to seek the truth from Giovanni due to the events in the Unresolved Mystery quest.

Upon arriving in the land of Faewish Sprites, you seek help from everybody by helping them out and receiving magical quest items from them that will further help you on your journey.
