Sin Introduction

SIn is the armor Yu Yevon crafts for himself. It is taught in the teaching that if humans atone for their sins then Sin disappears. Sin is “programmed” by Yu Yevon to do specific tasks which is to seek out huge settlements, destroy machina, and retaliate against hostilities.

During its first appearance, it destroyed Zanarkand making the enemy country Bevelle flee. They were then sought out by Yunalesca and taught the method about the Final Summoning eventually leading to the Yevon Religion.
