Equip Agility boosting equipment such as the Falcon Knife, Hermes' Shoes, Hermes' Sandals, Red Cap, etc. to increase the number of hits that you can do per turn. You can also cast Quick to increase number of attacks by 50% for four turns.
The more hits you deal per turn, the more damage you will do.
You can stack buff spells to your character until it reaches the maximum limit. Buffing is important as depending on the buff used, will improve your attack damage or your defense which will turn the tides of the battle to your favor.
Spam Brave when dealing with regular enemies on the field to speed up the battle. This is efficient when you are grinding levels, as you are not wasting much time dealing with mobs.
There are enemies in the game that has an elemental weakness or enemies that are weak to specific weapons or abilities. Exploit these weaknesses when dealing with enemies, especially if they are hard to deal with to speed up your enemy's demise.
You can use recovery spells like the Cure line spells against Undead enemies to deal damage.
There are some boss fights that will have a main damage dealer and someone supporting them. It is ideal to focus on the support boss first as they usually have less HP and will make the main damage dealer more dangerous if not taken out.
