Reason for Recommendation |
---|---|
Arise (Lv 13) |
An advanced version of Raise that revives incapacitated allies with maximum HP. It is useful even in the late game, as it can instantly revive allies who are defeated in one hit in difficult boss battles. |
Epic Group-Cast (Lv 12) |
Even if you heal all of your allies at once, the amount of recovery will not decrease, making it easier to recover when you receive a wide-area attack. It can also be used for attack magic, so it is useful when you want to defeat multiple enemies at once. |
Conservation of Life (Lv 14) |
When fighting in dungeons or against high-powered enemies, it can be used as a last resort to avoid party annihilation. Even if you receive fatal damage, it allows the user to survive once, creating an opportunity to recover. |
The White Mage is an essential job, indispensable to the party, with a wide variety of recovery magic such as Cure and Raise. With high MND, its healing magic restores a significant amount of HP. White Mages play a key role in preventing their companions from being annihilated.
The White Mage has access to white magic such as the Cure series for HP recovery, Esuna for removing status ailments, and Raise for reviving fallen allies. Unlike potions and other items, the advantage of these spells can heal multiple party members at once. As the game progresses and enemy attack power increases significantly, learning higher-tier healing magic like Cura and Curaga ensures reliable support even in the late game.
Additionally, the White Mage can learn various types of spells, such as Protect for ally defense and Aero for offensive magic. By learning support abilities that increase magic defense, they become more resilient against enemy spell attacks.
Due to their low Strength and lack of proficiency with weapons, they are best suited for a dedicated healing role.
