Ability (Learning Level) |
Reason for Recommendation |
---|---|
Damage Dispersion (Lv 5) |
By distributing the damage received across all allies, the damage each person takes can be reduced. This is an excellent defensive measure that makes it difficult for a powerful single-target attack to incapacitate a character. |
Kill (Lv 13) |
A special command that allows you to wipe out enemies weaker than you. Although you won't gain experience points or drops, it's useful when you want to finish battles against weak enemies quickly. |
Group-Cast All (Lv 14) |
By expanding certain spells like Sleep using Group-Cast All, you can put multiple enemies to sleep at once. This will make it easier to deal with multiple opponents, and depending on the situation, it may be a move that saves the entire party. |
The Black Mage is a job that uses high intelligence to deal great damage to enemies with powerful black magic. By combining the M.Attack 20% Up at job level 10 and Pierce M.Defense at job level 12, it can maintain high damage output even in the late game.
On the other hand, they have low stamina and are weak against physical attacks, so it is a good idea to equip them with a shield or other defensive equipment to ensure survivability.
The Black Mage can use elemental attack magic such as Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder to exploit enemy weaknesses. As their job level increases, they learn stronger versions of these spells and eventually gain access to Dark. Most enemies have designated elemental weaknesses that amplify damage by 1.5x, making it crucial to attack with spells that specifically target their attributes for maximum effectiveness
