The game now has enhanced graphic details for characters, textures, and environment, which will make players appreciate the crisper picture-book-style art of the game.
The original version of the game utilized the dual screen of the Nintendo 3DS. The remaster has been fully optimized for a single-screen interface for the Nintendo Switch 2. Quality of life features such as a Heal All button, holding B to dash, recommended character levels for dungeons, and more are also added in the game.
Same as the original version, the remaster also has a feature of fast-forwarding battles up to 4x faster. Additionally, players can now double the speed of event scenes as well when autoplay is selected.
You can change the rate of random encounters in the field map anytime according to your preferences, from 50% up to 200%. Whether you want to grind for experience points or breeze through a field much quicker is up to you. On the original version there was a 0% encounter option; it's now removed in the remaster.
The game's networking features have been retooled to ensure players can fully utilize them as intended. Players are free to choose whether they leverage working with allies on their platform's friend list or tackle the adventure on their own.
Two new minigames have been added to the remaster—Luxencheer Rhythm Catch and Ringabel's Panic Cruise!
These minigames exclusively make use of Mouse Mode, a new Joy-Con feature introduced with the Nintendo Switch 2.

This is second hand knowledge, but apparently 0% and 400% spawn settings do exist, but they are unlocked by the minigames.
