Ability (Learning Level) |
Reason for Recommendation |
---|---|
Invocation Lv.1 (Lv 1) |
This command ability merges you with an otherworldly being, significantly boosting your Magic Attack, Evasion, Physical Defense, and other stats for over 10 turns. Despite its high MP cost, the benefits are enormous, allowing for stacking up to a 100% increase. Its effects are enhanced at Levels 3, 5, 8, 10, and 13. |
Obliterate (Lv 9) |
This command ability instantly defeats any enemy with a level 20 or more below your own. You will still gain experience, job points, and items as normal. |
Max Summoning (Lv 11) |
This support ability doubles the damage dealt by summoning magic. While it also doubles the MP consumption, it significantly boosts your firepower. |
Experience Up (Lv 14) |
This support ability increases experience gained by 1.5 times. When combined with Obliterate, it allows for smooth level progression. |
Using Obliterate to quickly clear out weaker enemies and then employing Experience Up for efficient leveling is a convenient strategy. By leveraging a variety of summoned fusions and abundant MP support, you can aim to become the pinnacle of magic attackers.
The Conjurer is a job that leverages its high Intelligence and MP to significantly boost its abilities through Invocation. This unique ability allows them to merge with otherworldly beings to significantly enhance their own stats.
The Conjurer has the highest MP and Intelligence among all jobs, making them an excellent match for offensive magic.
Since the Conjurer doesn't learn abilities to directly attack enemies, it's essential to set Black Magic or Summoning Magic as their job command. By utilizing their high Intelligence and significantly boosting their stats with Invocation, they can unleash powerful magic to deal overwhelming damage. For instance, using Max Summoning beforehand can double their magic damage, making it easier to handle boss-level opponents.
A major advantage is the Conjurer's resilience in prolonged engagements or situations with high MP consumption, stemming from their job ability that recovers MP after battle and an abundance of other MP-related support abilities. By ensuring consistent use with Steady MP Recover and Post-Battle MP, they can support allies as an enhanced magic attacker without running out of MP.
