Chapter 7 Walkthrough and Side Boss Locations
This is a walkthrough for Chapter 7 of Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster. Read on for a complete walkthrough of Chapter 7 including boss strategies and side boss locations.

| Watch the events in the inn again and after finishing these events, go to the castle and talk to the King for some unique dialogue. | |
| 2 | Defeat the Side Bosses (Optional) |
| Go outside of Caldisla and ride your Grandship. You will also notice another set of side quests scattered throughout the map. However, most of the bosses will now be in groups instead of just themselves meaning that they will be much harder to defeat than their previous iterations. |
Awaken the Crystals
| 1 | Go to the Temples |
|---|---|
 You will have to go back to the temples again in order to release their crystals. Note that you will have to fight the same bosses that you've encountered in their respective temples and will be slightly stronger than their previous counterparts. This guide will tackle in the order of Wind → Water → Fire → Earth. Note: If you want to unlock the False Final Chapter, just keep pressing the X button when awakening a crystal even if Airy tells you to stop. This will lead to the destruction of the crystal and will lead to the chapter, Lying Airy, that will give you the Normal Ending. |
Wind Temple

 Proceed to the Altar of Wind for the boss battle against Orthros. ┣ Attack the Flame Head with Blizzard, and the Ice Head with Fire. ┗ Default to accumulate BP, and counter-attack when the enemy's BP becomes negative. ▶︎ Temple of Wind Map |

 Press the X button until Airy tells you to stop. If you ignore Airy and continue to mash the X button, you will enter the False Final Ending. |
Water Temple

 Proceed to the Altar of Water for the boss battle against Rusalka. ┣ Weak against Lightning. ┗ Prepare Lightning-element attacks. ▶︎ Temple of Water Map |

| 2 | Awaken the Water Crystal |
 Press the X button until Airy tells you to stop. If you ignore Airy and continue to mash the X button, you will enter the False Final Ending. |
Fire Temple
| 1 | Go to the Mythril Mines |

| 2 | Head to the Temple of Fire |
 Proceed through the Underflow and enter the Temple of Fire. ▶︎ Underflow Map ▶︎ Temple of Fire Map |

| 3 | Defeat Chaugmar |
 Proceed to the Altar of Fire for the boss battle against Chaugmar. ┣ Weak against Lightning-element attacks. ┣ For the first 4 turns, it will be in a defensive state; use this time to apply buffs or Default. ┗ Once its barrier is gone, unleash a rush of Brave attacks. |

Earth Temple
| 1 | Head to Everlast Tower |

| 2 | Defeat Gigas Lich |
 Proceed to the Altar of Earth for the boss battle against Gigas Lich. ┣ Weak against Light-element attacks. ┗ It uses instant-death attacks, so you'll want to prepare reviving abilities or nullification measures. |

| 3 | Awaken the Earth Crystal |
 Press the X button until Airy tells you to stop. If you ignore Airy and continue to mash the X button, you will enter the False Final Ending. |
Holy Pillar
| 1 | Go to the Holy Pillar |

 Exit the Temple of Earth. The Holy Pillar that appeared from the previous chapter should appear in the same location. Go to the southeast of the map to reach the Holy Pillar and then enter it to proceed to the next chapter. |
Chapter 7 Bosses
Orthros (Left Head: Ice, Right Head: Fire)

 The strategy is the same as in Chapter 1.Attack twice in a row, then Default to accumulate BP before attacking all at once.Deal damage to the Left Head (Ice) with Fire-element attacks, and to the Right Head (Flame) with Water-element attacks.Exploiting their weaknesses will prevent them from using the powerful area-of-effect attacks, Flame and Blizzard. |
Rusalka

The strategy is the same as in Chapter 2.If it's just the main body, use Default to build up your BP.Once clones appear after Dark Flow, unleash a powerful Brave attack.Heal Charm status from Bewitching Voice with Esuna.Counter the Defense debuff from Aqua Regia with Protect. |
Chaugmar

| The strategy is the same as in Chapter 3.When it's in a guarding state, attacks are ineffective.The turn after it opens its eyes, it will unleash a powerful area-of-effect attack.Once you've survived Energy Blast, launch an immediate counter-attack.Weak to Lightning-element attacks. |
Gigas Lich

The strategy is the same as in Chapter 4.Equip Courage Rings on your attack-focused characters and Safety Rings on your healing and support characters.The Hunting ability, Undead Slayer, is particularly effective.Use Dispel to remove the enemy's Attack Up effects.Equip Light-element weapons such as Excalibur or Divine Fist. |
