Unlock Merchant and Thief Jobs in Chapter 1

To earn more money, you should unlock the Merchant and Thief.

The Merchant has a support skill that you unlock on Job Level 9 called More Money that lets you earn 1.5 times more money than normal after a battle. Meanwhile, the Thief is a job that allows you to steal from enemies, so steal their items and then sell them for more income.

Get the Thief's Knife in Harena Ruins in Chapter 1

You can get the Thief's Knife in Harena Ruins during your visit in Chapter 1. It has the ability Mug just like the Thief job, so you give this to a Thief and use Mug, it will activate twice so make sure to obtain this in the story.

Raise the Accessory Shop Level Up to Level 9

Norende Village Rebuilding Population

If you want to double the amount of money that you get, you should prioritize upgrading the Accessory Shop when rebuilding Norende up to level 9 in order to get the Golden Egg.

The Golden Egg is an item that doubles the amount of money that you acquire, so it is ideal for people who want to make more money quickly. Note that you can't earn JP or EXP when equipping this accessory.

Increase Your Encounter Rate

In Bravely Default, you can change your encounter rate setting up to 200%. This means that you will encounter enemies more frequently if you set it this high up.

Change Your Encounter Rate to 400% by Unlocking a Special Item

Once you reach Chapter 2, you can play one of the two new minigames to earn tokens which you can use to buy a special item that will increase your encounter rate up to 400%.

Use Lure Enemy to Double Encounter Rate

When you reach level 12 as a Freelancer, you can unlock the ability Lure Enemy which doubles the encounter rate when this ability is equipped. Note that this does not stack when other similar abilities are equipped, so you don't have to raise encounter rate if you have this equipped.

It doesn't stack with itself. It stacks with items. The description is wrong. You can test it ingame

The description says that, but it lies. Have tested this myself. Only ONE instance of More Money applies, but it DOES stack with the Golden Egg. It's the opposite of what the in-game description says.
