What are Sub-scenarios?

Sub-quests to Obtain Jobs

Sub-scenarios are the sub-quests in the Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster. They are optional but are highly recommended, as they reward powerful and useful jobs that greatly strengthen the party's capabilities.

Each chapter features sub-scenarios that unlock various jobs. The first becomes available in Chapter 1, followed by more in Chapters 2 through 4, with the final one in Chapter 6.

How to Start a Sub-scenario

Go to the Blue Marks on the Map

When you exit the palace after your audience with the King of Ancheim, you will learn about the blue marks on the map. This is the first time sub-scenarios are introduced. Traveling to these blue-marked locations and doing the required steps will advance the sub-scenario until its completion.

Sub-scenarios unlock as you progress through the main story, and some will only trigger under specific conditions.
