For every 5 hours, you will see 3 player ghosts appearing in a town. Touch these ghosts in order to recruit them to your village.
In order for these ghosts to appear, you must be connected online on your Nintendo Switch 2 system. Make sure that you are connected to the internet in your Switch 2 settings before playing the game.
Note that a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription is not required, meaning that you can just connect to the internet normally and still get other players in the towns.
Villagers are resources that you can use to speed up making or upgrading a facility within the Norende Village minigame. Rebuilding or upgrading a facility will be quicker if you have many villagers working on a facility so always check towns to get more villagers.
