List of Contents
We recommend focusing on developing and unlocking areas first. Work on the areas marked with an exclamation mark on the Norende map until you can build a full range of buildings.
Focus on developing the Accessory Shop as reaching level 9 and 10 will unlock the Golden Egg and Growth Egg respectively which increases the money or experience earned.
The next priority is to develop and upgrade the weapons and armor shops which will unlock more stronger weapons and armor that will help your journey immensely.
Focus on Special Moves Shop next after you have progressed the other shops mentioned above. While special moves are strong, the shop can take a long time to develop so prioritize it last.
The main way to speed up the construction of your facilities and areas is to grow the population of your village. The more villagers you dedicate on developing a certain facility, the faster it will finish.
You can get more villagers by connecting your Switch 2 to the internet and examining NPC with floating flowers within towns. These flower NPCs when interacted, will disappear but will appear again after a few hours so make sure to check towns from time to time.
Constructions will still proceed even if you pause your game so make sure to choose a facility to develop first before pausing the game.
You can receive various benefits like unlocking new special moves and items that will be available to buy within stores by rebuilding Norende Village's facilities slowly. You can also receive gifts like potions at regular intervals.
Norende was once a peaceful and quiet village that got swallowed by a huge hole called the Great Chasm. It is now up to Tiz to rebuild his now lost town to its former glory.
The Norende Village Rebuilding sidequest can be accessed anytime by selecting the house icon on the menu on the
You can encounter other players as guests within different towns to grow Norende's population. As your village’s population increases, you'll have more manpower to rebuild facilities faster and level them up quickly.
For example, if a facility takes 3 hours to develop, doing it with only one villager will take full 3 hours. However, if you try to allocate three villagers on that development, the process will only take 1 hour.
Focus on rebuilding facilities that will offer you what you want first. For example, if you want more stronger weapon selection, focus on rebuilding the Weapons Shop first.
Upgrading a facility in Norende will allow you to have more selection of items the more you level up a certain facility. Below are the facilities that you can build and upgrade to expand the stores' item lists.

The Norende Village Rebuilding sidequest is unlocked after finishing the Norende Ravine in the prologue, returning to Caldisla and talking to the King.
You can level up each shop up to level 11 which will provide you strong equipment that you can use in your journey. Note that reaching level 11 might take some time so make sure that your population is high so you can dedicate more manpower into leveling up a facility.
