If you are interested in buying The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but can't decide on which platform you will play it on. Here is a quick guide and important notes for each platform!
If you want to play with the best graphics available, purchasing the game on your PC is the best way to go. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is available on Steam and is usually on sale.
Playing The Witcher 3 on PC not only gives you the opportunity to get the best graphics but it also gives you the option to add Mods made by the Witcher 3 community.
If you want to have the full vanilla experience of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt without sacrificing the graphics of the game, you can purchase the game on your PS4. Having the Witcher 3 on your PS4 will give you the full Witcher 3 experience while having the option to play it on your television with graphics that is almost on par with the PC version.
Playing The Witcher 3 on your Nintendo Switch gives you an option to play it on your handheld device and which becomes a huge factor because of the portability. This will allow you to play The Witcher 3 anywhere you go. However, playing the Witcher 3 on your Nintendo Switch limits the graphics and settings of the game because of its high system requirements and this may cause some issues and lag while playing on a weaker platform unlike the PlayStation 4 and PC.
Purchasing The Witcher 3 on your Nintendo Switch is definitely not ideal because of the hardware constraints it has with the game and as tempting as it may be, playing The Witcher 3 on a portable console is not as satisfying as playing it with excellent graphics for the full experience. If you are planning to play The Witcher 3 it is suggested that you play it on your PC because of the enhanced graphics and the different mods available. However, if you do not have a good PC rig, it might be better to play it on the PS4. Playing it on the PS4 even with limited graphics is still better because of the faster loading time and smoother gameplay which will still give you a better experience than playing it on Nintendo Switch.
