| 1 | If you chose to simulate a Witcher 2 save, Morvran Vorhis will come and ask you questions. |
| 2 | Loot any of the 3 clothes presented to you. Equip them from your inventory, then talk to the Chamberlain. Tell him you are satisfied with what you are wearing to continue. |
| 3 | When asked to bow, choose the option [Left leg forward, right hand on chest] to continue. |
| 4 | Follow the Chamberlain. |
| 5 | When you first meet the Emperor, choose either of the options. They will only affect dialogue. |
| 6 | Follow the Chamberlain. |
| 7 | Enter the door and follow the marker to Yennefer. |
| 8 | After talking with Yennefer, walk right back outside and talk to the Chamberlain to retrieve your things and end the quest. |
If the player chose to simulate a Witcher 2 save, Morvran Vorhis will appeat and ask Geralt questions about the events that happened in The Witcher 2. Your answers will have an impact on the game.

Choosing to bow to Emperor Emhyre or not does not affect anything but the dialogue after. Choosing to bow surprises Emhyr while not baring does not bother him.
You only need one to progress, but you can use or sell the other 2 later on.
There are many loot containers contained here. Loot as much as you can, as there are many things you can sell or use. There is a chest to the east after your dialogue with Yennefer that even contain ores, runes, and diagrams.
