How to Fight The Wild Hunt

How to Fight

You can encounter these enemies during the Main Quests: The Battle of Kaer Morhen, On Thin Ice, and most quests where you use Ciri instead of Geralt. The best way to deal with them is to reduce their armor or frost armor with Igni then attacking them when they are vulnerable.

What Preparations to Make?

Despite being humanoids, they have a silver HP bar. This requires you to use a Silver Sword and you cannot coat them with Hanged Man's Venom so you should use Elementa oil to deal bonus damage to them instead.

Special Sign Effects

  • Aard - This can stagger them for a short duration and will give you an opening to attack them.
  • Igni - An upgraded Igni can reduce their armor significantly so you can deal more damage to them. A basic Igni is enough to remove their frost armor.
