When fighting them above water, the best way to fight Sirens is to force them down to the ground and attack them. They are also very weak to fire damage and easily ignited. You can use the Aard Sign, crossbow bolts, and the Hornwall Horn to force them down to the ground and the Igni Sign and bombs like the Dancing Star Bomb and the Dragon's Dream Bomb to ignite them.
When fighting them underwater, the only way to deal with them is to use the crossbow. Automatically targeted shots from the crossbow can quickly deal with them.
When fighting them on a boat, you hit them with crossbow bolts while they are flying or attacking the boat, or you can use the Hornwall Horn to keep them from attacking your boat.
You should use your Silver Sword and coat it with Hybrid oil to deal bonus damage to them. Prepare bombs like Dancing Star and Dragon's Dream to ignite them when they are on the ground. Also, you should always have your Hornwall horn equipped to deal with them when they are flying.
