How to Use Nitro in Sand Land

You can use your vehicle's Boost in Sand Land (Shift on PC, L3/LS on Console) at any given time. The Boost is what you use with Shift, L3 or LS, and makes use of the Nitro Gauge to your left.

This gauge will only drain during combat. When you're not in the middle of a combat encounter, you can hit Boost to make use of your Nitro indefinitely.

Other vehicles like the Battle Armor in Sand Land also make use of Nitro. The way the boost works is slightly different since it Hovers over obstacles instead of increasing your movement speed. This can be used to cross certain gaps in the game that don't have a ramp for you to make use of.
