1 | Progress ahead while defeating the tanks and the soldiers. You can also go for the enemy creatures along the way to get materials for crafting parts. |
2 | At the second blockade, go up the slope to the left to find an army base with lots of useful chests including rare materials like Raptor Steel and Pterano Rubber. |
3 | Continue ahead until you reach Akque Camp. Open the chests here and take a rest if needed. Then, talk to the Peddler to acquire Blueprints for the Battle Tank and Jump-Bot which will allow you to craft more parts for them. Feel free to stock on consumables like the Repair Kit to aid you in the upcoming battle. |
4 | Head for the Radio Tower indicated by the yellow marker. Ahead, you'll fight a larger group of Tanks and soldiers. Defeat them to receive the 7-Cylinder Radial Engine for the Battle Tank. Be sure to defeat all the Tanks before proceeding to the Radio Tower; you won't be able to proceed to the next step until all the Tanks are destroyed. Any remaining Tanks will be marked with the quest marker. Use the nearby rock for cover while fighting the enemy tanks. |
5 | Afterwards, go to the radio tower and use a B-Grade Meter and a B-Grade Bolt to fix it. Before you leave the tower, make sure to loot all the chests nearby including one that has a 90 mm Smoothbore Gun (HEAT). You can install this on your Battle Tank (must be Lv. 6 or higher) so you can dish out more damage. |
6 | After fixing the Radio Tower, head to the quest marker, and defeat General Are and his Brigade. |
7 | After the battle, climb the cliff indicated by the quest marker to finish the quest. |
Before fighting General Are, make sure your Battle Tank is fit for the battle.
Level it up to at least Lv. 5 and equip it with better parts at the Garage in Spino. You can equip it with the 90 mm Smoothbore Gun (HEAT) that you got from the Radio Tower but your Battle Tank needs to be Lv. 6 before you can equip it.
Once you're in the battlefield, focus your firepower on eliminating General Are. Take out enemy tanks in your way but your focus should ultimately be on General Are. There's no use defeating his army of Battle Tanks because they will just keep respawning as long as General Are is alive.
Try to find a spot where you're protected from attacks from the sides, and can repeatedly peek out to take shots at General Are's tank until he is defeated.
