To unlock the ability to customize your vehicle, you need to get the paint shop. You must finish the "Mysterious Voice" side quest.
Mos will tell Beelzebub that he heard some creepy noises near the sand falls. After searching and climbing some rocks, you will find Shion, a kid Sheriff Rao saved!
After finishing the quest, return to Spino Town. Shion will establish the paint shop, unlocking the ability to customize your vehicles!
To customize your vehicles, go to the paint shop in Spino Town and speak to Shion!
The main currency for customizing vehicles is dye. To get dye, you can get them from chests or some workshops!
Talk to Shion, then select a vehicle of your choosing. Afterwards, select the specific part that you want to change the color. A screen will show you the number of colors and camos you have, and you will need a set amount of dye depending on how many parts you paint!
To change the decals of a vehicle, first talk to Shion, then select a vehicle. Scroll past the parts until you reach the decals. There are five decal spots, so you have lots of leeway for changing these!
Attention! | More methods will be added as soon as they are discovered! |
The earliest instance you can get camos is by pre-ordering the game. Doing so rewards you with three camos you can use for all your vehicles!
How to Claim Pre-Order and Demo Bonuses
Finishing side quests will occasionally reward you with some camo and decals. For example, finishing the Payment in Paint side quest rewards you with a plethora of new camos to use!
Each vehicle is a culmination of parts that you can customize depending on your needs and preferences! Each has its niche, but it ultimately changes the feel of the vehicle!
If you want a more combat-oriented vehicle, look to include parts that make you more resilient. If mobility is more up your speed, focus on parts that increase acceleration and speed boost capabilities.
Usually meant for blending in with the environment, camos except those designed for the sands are made ineffective. However, who is to say they do not make you look good? Look to change your vehicle's color scheme with various colors camos!
Decals show off certain emblems you have acquired along the way. If you are creative enough, you can use emblems to make your vehicles look unique and even do creature designs like sharks!
Vehicle customizations are a way for players to express themselves through their vehicles. Do you want to be a speed demon with fiery decals to display your bold attitude, or do you want a more practical approach with desert camo?
Sand Land's got you covered with a selection of personalization choices for different vehicles that suit your playstyle and aesthetic!
