1 | The quest requires you to go to Junker Market: Lisab. However, you won't be able to Fast Travel there directly. Instead, Fast Travel to the Water Supply Point southeast of the Junker Market: Lisab and go there on your motorbike. |
2 | After a cutscene, continue towards Lisab Battleship. Climb the stairs and at the top, you'll fight some soldiers. |
3 | You'll be asked to go inside the Battleship itself but you won't be able to do it using the main door ahead. Instead, follow the marker to the area where you exited the battleship during the A Jump-Bot?! Gimme! main quest. Look up and you'll see an open cavern up and out of reach. Use the Jump-Bot's Charge Jump to reach the cavern and continue through into Lisab Battleship. |
4 | Inside, progress through the Battleship while following the quest markers. From here on out, feel free to loot chests you'll come across as you explore the battleship. Chests with common materials are easily noticeable but those with valuable items are either hidden or hard to get to. No worries though because we'll cover those in this walkthrough! You can skip to this page's Treasure Chests section to see all the chests in this area of Lisab Battleship. |
5 | In the first room, head over to the western wall and open the chest near the stairs to get a V4 Engine. |
6 | Follow the quest marker to the huge room, then climb the winding stairs at the center of the room. Be prepared to fight the enemies that will show up along the way. |
7 | Once you reach the marker, a fight will ensue. Defeat the soldiers, then watch another cutscene. Afterwards, follow the quest marker again. |
8 | You'll stumble upon another room full of big crates. Before you leave the room, make sure to grab the Light Legs from the chest near the exit. Proceed to the next room and defeat all the enemies in it. |
9 | Follow the quest marker while blasting through the breakable crates blocking your way. On your way there, you'll come across a pipe to your left. Enter the pipe and turn right to find a room with large crates. Get a Quick Reload Chip (Cannon) hiding behind the crates near the southern wall. Then, exit this room through the slightly open eastern door. |
10 | When you reach a new room, turn left. Keep going until you reach a new room with large ramps. Open the two chests beside the ramp to get a Gold Ore and an Endurance Booster Chip (Battle Tank). |
11 | Use your Motorbike to reach the other side of the room. Use its booster and make sure to start from a distance to build momentum. |
12 | Keep going west until you reach another room with ramps. Just like in the previous room, use your Motorbike and its booster to reach the other side of the room. |
13 | Defeat the enemies in the next room, then loot the chests in the room to get a High-Mobility Fender, Repellent Shield, and a few other materials. Afterwards, retrace your steps until you reach the pipe where you came in from earlier. |
14 | Follow the quest marker again, then ride the elevator up one floor. |
15 | Break the red crates blocking the next room, then get an Endurance Booster Chip (Jump-Bot) from the chest in the same room. |
16 | Press forward and defeat the enemies in the next three rooms. Shoot down the yellow crate in the fourth room and destroy all red crates, so you'll have a platform to stand on to reach the next area. Keep following the quest marker until you reach the huge central room again. |
17 | Instead of boarding the elevator, explore the room to the left. |
18 | Keep heading northeast until you reach a room with tall stacks of crates. Shoot the red crates at the top of the stacks and the lone yellow crate in the room. |
19 | Jump on one of the crates using the Jump-Bot, then switch to your Battle Tank to destroy one more red crate. |
20 | Use your Jump-Bot again to reach the three chests atop the stack of crates. |
21 | Go back to the huge central room again and ride the elevator to the 5th floor. If you fall down here from 3F, you can actually land on 2F but you'll have a hard time getting back to this point. When this happened to us, intentionally dying was the only way which worked, but it fortunately will return you back to 3F. |
22 | Follow the quest marker and defeat the enemies along the way. Be sure to get the V2 Engine from the chest in the room with the ramps and yellow crate that you need to shoot to bring it down. |
23 | Press forward until you reach another elevator. Instead of riding the elevator though, enter the door to your right. |
24 | Continue going south, then get the chests on the higher platform and the ground. |
25 | Go back to the elevator and ride it to the 6th floor. Follow the quest marker to a very large room and defeat Epi's Mech. After defeating his mech, you'll be rewarded with 800 EXP, 1,500 Zeni, and a High-Capacity Missile Pod. |
26 | Follow the quest marker again and watch a short cutscene. Finally, exit the battleship using the elevator indicated by the yellow marker. |
27 | After exiting, fast travel back to Spino. Talk to Ann and Rao to end the quest. |
General Epi's Mech is similar to a Jump-Bot but bigger and stronger. Here are some tips on how to defeat it:
Just like with the Outlaw's Jump-Bot, Epi's Mech can use a machine gun to attack you. When it does this, simply circle around it to avoid damage and sneak in a shot or two.
Epi can also summon soldiers to fight you. Use your standard bullets to take out these soldiers when they appear, as they can shoot rockets and cause trouble if you leave them alone.
The Mech can also jump high up in the air and perfrom a stomp attack that shoots fire in all directions when it lands. Shoot it when it jumps high to prevent him from using a stomp attack.
Epi's Mech can also shoot you with homing missiles.
You can avoid it by continuously moving around until it inevitably explodes. Alternatively, you can shoot the missiles with your Armor-Piercing Gun to destroy it so it won't chase after you.
Do your best to avoid these missiles to keep your Battle Tank healthy.
