Chasing the Cursed Mask can be started by finding Clemente at the Great Wishtree Square in Florawish. Approach and speak with him to initiate the quest.

Chasing the Cursed Mask Walkthrough

Learn About the Wish Party Carnival

To start the events of Chasing the Cursed Mask, find and speak to Clemente at the Great Wishtree Square in order to learn about the Wish Party Carnival of the Faewish Sprites.

Head to the Wish Party Carnival

After speaking to Clemente, head to the area above, south of the entrance to the Wishing Woods. Here, you will find the Faewish Sprites gathered for a celebration.

Check on the Fainted Faewish Sprite

Head to the Floating Wish Isle, which is the largest island in the vicinity. Use the lily pads and debris scattered in the water to hop onto the island, and speak to Morda to check on the fainted Moosda.

Find Dr. Kodibo

After learning what happened, head back to the shoreline to find Dr. Kodibo, and bring her back to Morda after her dialogue. She will confirm that Moosda is fine, and Morda will bring up the Carnival Mask afterwards.

Search for the Carnival Mask

Head east a little bit on the Floating Wish Isle to learn more about where the mask is from a pair of Faewish Sprites beside the stage. They will remark that Philbo has been throwing water balloons repeatedly throughout the day.

Look for Philbo and the Mask

Follow the splashes of water on the ground to reach the marked area above, where Philbo can be found with the Carnival Mask. Speak with her to free her from the mask, then get through the rest of her dialogue.

Go to the Boogie Dance Floor

At Philbo's suggestion, go to the Boogie Dance Floor marked above to continue searching for the mask. Once in the area, you will be greeted by a brief cutscene showing Aneda wearing the mask.

Free Pamoda and Catch Aneda

As you look towards the boxes to reach Aneda, you will see that Pamoda is trapped under a pile of them. Move this box away from the pile to clear a path for Pamoda, then catch Aneda after the former's dialogue.

Jump Off of the Box to Catch Aneda

You can use the box that you moved as a platform to jump off of to reach Aneda in the air. Push it near Aneda, or to a higher elevation, then press and hold the Jump input for a higher jump.

If needed, jump again while in mid-air to activate Nikki's Floating Ability Outfit for an extra vertical boost to make it to Aneda.

Head to Valenbo and the Mask

Once you catch Aneda, speak with him until the mask flies off again. After dialogue, go find the mask with Valenbo at the above location. Speak with her, and she will propose a Styling Challenge.

Defeat Valenbo in a Styling Challenge

The theme that Valenbo proposes is The Untamed Party Dreamer. Clothes of the Cool attribute, and that have a Uniform tag, are recommended to help defeat Valenbo.

Event-Exclusive Quest for Wish Carnival Party

Chasing the Cursed Mask is an event-exclusive Quest that will run alongside the Wish Carnival Party event that started on March 26, 2025, and will no longer be available once the event ends on April 28, 2025.

Be sure to complete this quest for its rewards before time is up!
