 Talk to the Scribe After taking the notice, you must head to the Passiflora and talk to the Scribe inside. If you have enough cards in your deck as well as 1000 Gold, then you'll be allowed to enter the tournament. |

 Socialize with the Other Players Before the tournament starts, you'll be given the opportunity to talk to a few of the players, such as Bernard Tulle, Sasha, and Finneas, who you'll be facing in the tournament. |

 Play Bernard Tulle For your first match, you'll face off against Bernard Tulle, who plays a Northern Realm deck which makes use of Siege units and Foltest: The Steel-Forged. Make sure to bring Torrential Rain to negate his Siege units and avoid using Siege units yourself so that his leader card can't be triggered. |

 Follow Sasha Afterward, Sasha will ask you to follow her to the balcony, where she will let you know about her scheme. Agree to help then head back down to play your next match. |

 Play Sasha You'll be face-to-face with your co-conspirator, Sasha, for your next match. She uses a Nilfgaardian Empire deck and uses Spy units and Decoys to gain more cards. Make sure to bring your own Spy and Decoy cards to stay even in card advantage and bring Scorch to remove her high power Nilfgaardian Empire units. |

 Play Finneas Your next opponent, Finneas, plays a Scoia'tael deck, which includes Muster and Agile units, so bring Weather cards to negate his Close Combat and Ranged units. Additionally, avoid bringing too many Close Combat units as his leader card, Francesca Findabair: Queen of Dol Blathanna, destroys your strongest Close Combat unit(s) if the combined strength of all your Close Combat units is 10 or more. After beating him in Gwent, you must then beat him in a fistfight as well. |

 Play Count Tybalt Your final opponent is the host of the high stakes tournament, Count Tybalt. He plays a Monsters deck, and you can shut down his Close Combat Muster units by bringing Biting Frost. |

 Talk with Sasha At the end of the tournament, the prize money is stolen. You must talk with Sasha and agree to help recover the money. |

 Inspect the Body First, climb upstairs and inspect the dead body. |

 Inspect the Marking Afterward, inspect the markings on the floor in front of the door. |
| 3 |
 Inspect the Arrow Head outside the door to the balcony and inspect the arrow attached to one of the wooden pillars. |
| 4 |
 Inspect the Rope Head downstairs and behind the Passiflora to the small fountain, where you'll find a rope attached to stone pillar. Inspect it. |
| 5 |
 Follow the Scent From the inspected rope, follow the scent upstairs, leading to a crate and a crossbow that you must inspect as well. A cutscene will then occur. |

 Meet Sasha at the Warehouse After the cutscene, head to a warehouse in Novigrad Docks, which is marked on your map, and meet Sasha there. |

 Enter the Warehouse Head behind the warehouse and climb up until you reach an open window. Enter it. |
| 8 |
 Kill the Culprit Finally, head deeper inside the warehouse where you'll discover the culprit, Bernard Tulle. Kill him and his henchmen, then talk with Sasha afterward. From here, you can either spend an evening with her or complete the quest immediately. |
