How to Unlock Contract: Dragon

You can unlock this quest by picking up the notice Contract: Dragon at Fyresdal or by directly talking to Vagn the village leader.

You cannot miss or fail this quest.

Contract: Dragon Walkthrough

Objectives
1 Go and talk to Vagn at Fyresdal about the contract.
2 Talk to the victim's mother and examine bodies for clues.
3 Go to the quest location and examine the clues then follow the blood trail.
4 Go back to Vagn and talk about getting a lure for the Forktail.
5 Guide the sheep to the Forktail's nest and kill the Forktail.
6 Go back and report to Vagn about the contract.

Contract: Dragon Tips and Strategies

Questing Tips

At the end of the quest, you can either lie to Vagn that you slayed a dragon or tell him the truth that it was only a Forktail. If you tell him the truth, he will split the gold reward in half. If you lie, he will still give you the full gold reward.

Combat Strategies

Forktail

  • Coat your Silver Sword with Draconid Oil to deal bonus damage to them.
  • Use the Aard Sign or throw Grapeshot bombs to keep it down on the ground and attack it from behind whenever it is vulnerable.
